**A Day in the Life**

Medtronic’s Test Development Team in Tempe, Arizona, is looking for a Sr Test Development Engineer to develop precision parametric measurement, dynamic signal analysis, and automated test system software for PCB level and Device level integrated system level testing.

+ Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment.

+ Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.

+ Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed.

+ Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.

+ Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.

**Must Have: Minimum Requirements**

+ Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar technical degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant Engineering experience OR advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant Engineering experience.

**Nice to Have**

+ Experience developing software applications using ATE (Automated Test Equipment) to test hybrid and assembled device electronics.

+ Designing, developing and debugging dedicated hardware and software, performing test verification and validation activities, performing Measurement Systems Analysis (Gage R&R studies); all in support of test solution release for production testing of medical grade electronics

+ Utilizing software languages and environments preferably in LabView, Test Stand, C and C++ to support test application software development

+ Troubleshooting yield and performance issues to root cause using statistics-based analyses and providing related technical solutions

+ Following test application development procedures and demonstrate compliance through technical documentation generation

+ Experience designing electrical schematics and understanding PCB layout requirements

+ Fundamental statistical analysis techniques

Job Description:

The successful candidate will join the rapidly growing Data Center Solutions (DCS) business unit at Microchip. Design of complex digital integrated circuits at the block, subsystem or device level (100K to 50M+ gates), which are coded in Verilog, System Verilog

Support emulation, ASIC lab validation including lab debug and providing logic modifications and workarounds

Experience and understanding of complex ASIC design flows, including block and chip level simulation and debug, logic synthesis, static timing analysis, layout and revision control

Experience with Formal Verification a plus.

Working knowledge of design and verification tools such as Synopsys Design Compiler, Cadence Incisive, waveform viewers, and other similar tools.

Scripting and programming skills using csh, bash, perl, python, tcl, etc.

Protocol knowledge and experience in PCI-Express will be an asset

Knowledge of AHB/AXI bus protocols is desired.

Excellent knowledge in logic synthesis and static timing analysis.

Experience in designing the chip top level with IOs, pin out and package design

Worked with physical design teams for layout implementation. Familiar with low power methodology and flows.

Capable of debugging EDA tool issues or design related issues.

Working knowledge of DFT.

Excellent analytical and debugging skills and the ability to proactively solve issues

Good verbal and written communication skills in English will be an asset

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be able to use their application and device physics knowledge to test, characterize and recommend improvements to high voltage Silicon Carbide (SiC) power FET and Diode device designs.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

Propose and review Silicon Carbide (SiC) semiconductor device concepts for MOSFETs, diodes, and other power devices.
Conduct simulations and modeling using Spice (or equivalents) to predict performance and identify areas for improvement.
Oversee detailed characterization and analysis of power devices to validate design and process changes.
Creating custom test bench setups and test fixtures as needed for high voltage devices.
Work with engineering teams to ensure long-term performance and reliability of SiC devices.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

Ability to review and troubleshoot power application boards and modules.

**The Staff System Engineer will**

+ Lead an integrated product team tasked with implementing missile design interfaces to the overall weapon system in alignment with customer objectives and constraints

**Salary Range:** $142,500 - $213,700

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

**What You’ll Do:**

+ Determine recommended automation system solutions, work with Project Managers to develop migration roadmaps, program plans, and implementation cost estimates, and work with Business Development Managers to develop/deliver proposals

+ Support Project manager as Lead Engineer to plan, schedule, and coordinate the technical aspect of a project as well as mentor early career engineers during project implementation

+ Participate in client meetings and resolve any technical issues on projects

+ Ensure project team’s use of EN Automation’s engineering processes, design tools and best practices to drive project performance

+ Develop and document system requirements, test plans, and commissioning plans and ensure alignment of the control system design and development activities.

**Required Qualifications:**

+ BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience

+ Minimum of 3+ years of automation and controls

+ Requires exceptional verbal and written communication skills and regular interaction with assigned project clients and partners (both internal and external to the company)

+ Knowledge of multiple industry leading vendor platforms, architectures, and data communications for PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems such as, but not limited to, Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Inductive Automation, Aveva/Wonderware, Emerson, and ABB.

· Hold a current valid driver’s license and good driving record over the last three. Ability to travel (providing service in an assigned geography and periodic travel to other areas/overnight). Candidates must be able to lift, lower and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted (tools, replacement parts, consumables etc.). Candidates must be able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, turn, crouch/crawl, push/pull, and sit/stand for extended periods of time. Candidates must also be able to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck, have good hand, and finger dexterity.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

· 2+ years’ experience of advanced troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications and/or service repair.

Burns & McDonnell's Power global practice is seeking to hire an experienced Electrical Engineer in the listed office location. The Power Division focuses on the design and construction of power generation facilities, including fossil, hydrogen, solar, nuclear, and energy storage. Projects also include other types of heavy industrial facilities, such as decarbonization, mining, and gas compression. The project diversity offers a wide range of design and project execution experiences on both multi-discipline and electrical-only projects. Engineered systems include the electrical interconnect to the bulk power grid and all auxiliary electric power equipment in the facility. Equipment includes rotating machines, such as generators and motors, solar photovoltaic panels, inverters, energy storage systems, such as batteries, large power transformers, generator circuit breakers, isolated phase bus duct, non-segregated phase bus duct, switchgear, motor control centers, small power transformers, variable frequency drives, station batteries, and UPS systems. The Electrical Engineer will work on project teams to create world-class designs for both new and retrofit projects on a variety of projects. The Electrical Engineer will work with the project team throughout the design and construction process, adapting electrical plans according to client requirements, industry standards, and budget constraints. + Perform electrical design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion.

+ Modify and review production drawings.
