    Job Description

    As an Electrician Journeyman, on the Facilities Team, you will perform installation and maintenance of panel boards, switchgears, office lighting, receptacles and associated equipment, analyze electrical malfunctions, and other duties as assigned with work on equipment up to 600 volts.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + High school diploma or GED

    + Must qualify as a Journeyman Electrician

    + Experience in reading construction prints, electrical drawings (for trouble shooting) and be familiar with motor controls and National Electrical code.

    + Works indoors and outdoors

    + Must live within reasonable distance (1 hour) of headquarters

    + Must meet and maintain DOT program qualifications

    + This position requires working with aerial equipment, which has weight restrictions of 300 lbs or less

    An employee who is a Journeyman and who performs all phases of construction, operation and maintenance of transmission and distribution overhead and underground lines in accordance with Company standards and other Company and/or governmental rules and regulations.

    Position-Related Responsibilities

    ¨ Guiding the work of Apprentices and Helpers working with him/her.

    ¨ Assembly of wood pole electrical lines and components.

    ¨ Installation of underground conduit systems.
