    Plan, lay-out, weld, install, test and repair all types of pipe and similar tubular products in accordance with applicable plans, specifications, welding codes and industry standards

    Primary Responsibilities:

    · Perform all-position MIG welding to join steel and aluminum metals from 1/16”- to 1”-thick plate.

    · Interpret and carry out work orders, blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions.

    · Properly clamp parts into jigs or holding fixtures.

    · Clean burrs, spatter, and weld flux from assemblies.

    · Hand count material for inventory purposes.

    · Wear and maintain protective clothing and equipment including a welding helmet, welding gloves, cotton clothing, safety glasses and steel toe safety shoes.
