As a Sr Advanced ASIC Design Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in the ES-Platform business unit, located in Plymouth, MN. You will be responsible for designing and developing advanced ASIC solutions for our aerospace customers. Your expertise in ASIC design and your ability to innovate will contribute to the success of our business unit and help us deliver cutting-edge solutions to our customers.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Plymouth, MN location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role you will be responsible for customer technical support of Honeywell’s Space Microelectronics portfolio of Radiation-Hardened ICs, including products, processes and technologies, in support of the organization's business strategies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and develop advanced ASIC solutions for aerospace applications

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and verify functionality

• Drive innovation in ASIC design and contribute to the development of cutting-edge solutions

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in ASIC design

The annual base salary range for this position is $Min-$Mid. Please note that this

salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various

factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and

responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education

and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering or related field

• 5+ years of experience in ASIC design and development

• Proficiency in ASIC design tools and methodologies

WE VALUE

• Some experience in ASIC/FPGA development

• Professional VHDL or Verilog working knowledge, Design tools, simulators, STA tools

• Knowledge of AMBA, PCI, Ethernet, SPI, OS Linux, Scripting languages, Perl, Shell, TCL

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
