Senior Product Steward for Honeywell International, Inc. (Morris Plains, NJ)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for working on registrations for products with the EPA, handling trade compliance requests to ensure timely shipments of Honeywell products and also creating safety data sheets for every Honeywell chemical.

Develop and implement programs to achieve full compliance with chemicals registration and notification regulations in the region, including developing sound working relationships with service providers.

Anticipate, communicate, and support regulatory changes with respect to existing regulations that may impact existing product lines and benefit new product introduction.

Work with regional counterparts to support emerging issue identification process.

Provide guidance to business and implement appropriate compliance plans.

Identify and support early risks in the product life cycle; understand potential product use and misuses; and work with business to develop and manufacture products that can be made, used and disposed of safely.

40 hours/week

YOU MUST HAVE:

Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Environmental Sciences or related field, and five (5) years of Product Stewardship experience. Must possess five (5) years of experience in the following: and experience with US EPA and FDA regulation and notification schemes. Telecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week.
