As a Senior Chemical Process Engineer here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in driving process optimization and efficiency in our Geismar, LA location. With your extensive experience in chemical process engineering, you will guide and oversee all aspects of process design, improvement, and troubleshooting. Your expertise in process simulation, equipment sizing, and optimization will contribute to increased productivity, reduced costs, and improved safety. Your strong analytical skills and attention to detail will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will report directly to our Sr Chemical Plant Ops Manager, and you'll work out of our Geismar, LA location.

By providing technical guidance and expertise in chemical process engineering, you will drive process optimization, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Your ability to analyze and optimize process parameters, troubleshoot operational issues, and implement best practices will contribute to the overall productivity and profitability of the company. Your strong communication and collaboration skills will enable you to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and innovation. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Guide and oversee all aspects of chemical process design, improvement, and troubleshooting.

Conduct process simulations, equipment sizing, and optimization.

Analyze and optimize process parameters to improve efficiency and productivity.

Troubleshoot operational issues and implement corrective actions.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in chemical process engineering.

Strong knowledge of process simulation software and equipment sizing.

Experience in process optimization and troubleshooting.
