Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Senior Software Engineer for its Johnston, RI location.

Duties: Leads a customer-centric Agile environment and drives digital and cloud-enabled platforms. Provides insights to solution design, ensuring product success and alignment with enterprise architecture principles. Creates, modifies, develops, and implements software solutions. Building modern, architecturally sound components, tools and applications to meet strategic business goals. Infusing quality of service characteristics, such as scalability, manageability and maintainability, into distributed service-based framework to build or expand business or technical capabilities. Evaluates, corrects, and prevents vulnerabilities during the software development process. Works closely with product managers, designers and developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Monitors innovations in Angular and MicroServices architecture and security best practices. Leverages cutting-edge tools and libraries for enterprise-scale Angular development and Nx Cloud for streamlined deployment.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, followed by five (5) years of progressive experience in the role or in a related position. Four (4) years of experience must include: Architecting, designing, and building platforms using Angular, Single SPA, NgRx, Redux, Redis Cache, Express API’s, HTML, Java and NodeJS; Building enterprise solutions for user authentication using Angular, Transmit Security, Threat Metrix, Ping Identity, Spring, Java 17 and JavaScript; Utilizing AI chatbots and live person technologies to improve and automate customer service; Identifying and solving security related issues in existing implemented code; Developing re-usable common Angular components, services and filters to reduce development time; Creating POC’s for integration with third party API’s; Developing algorithms and flowcharts for the developers to implement zero trust authentication frameworks using Transmit, Ping, and ThreatMatrix; Integrating Akamai NetStorage for deploying static assets using Phyton and Jenkins build; Proficient in debugging Angular applicatuins using browser developer tools and writing comprehensive unit tests and end-to-end tests with Jasmine, Karma and Protractor; Strong command over TypeScript, utilizing its static typing features to enhance the robustness and scalability of Angular projects; and Experienced in implementing reactive programming patterns with RxJS to manage asynchronous data streams efficiently.
