As a Cloud Engineer II with Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying highly scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based solutions. You will work within a team of skilled cloud developers to contribute to the successful delivery of cloud initiatives globally.

You will report directly to our Cloud Development Manager and work out of our Raleigh, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the development and deployment of cutting-edge cloud applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. You will work with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure successful deployment of services and solutions. Your expertise in cloud development will contribute to the continuous improvement of our cloud infrastructure and the implementation of best practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications to facilitate AI initiatives

+ Work with cross-functional teams to ensure reliability, and high performance of cloud solutions

+ Implement best practices for cloud architecture, security, and scalability

+ Optimize cloud infrastructure and applications for performance and cost-efficiency

+ Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies and AI

MUST HAVE

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics

+ 3+ years of experience in Azure Cloud services and in Supporting Cloud based Applications, specializing in the design, deployment, and day-to-day operation of Cloud

+ Experience in ServiceNow (ITIL processes), JIRA

+ Experience with Azure network topologies, App Gateway configurations, DNS record management, firewall management, and CA certificate management

+ Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation and scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell

+ Experience with release engineering processes and orchestration configuration

+ Knowledge of networking and security principles in cloud environments

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud solutions.

WE VALUE

+ Working Knowledge of Azure Function Apps and Azure Data Factory, Cloud storage solutions

+ Knowledge of Kubernetes pod deployments and configuration using Helm charts deployments

+ Experience with Databricks or related Data Mgmt. technologies (Hadoop, Snowflake etc.)

+ Implement and monitor AKS clusters, ensuring optimal performance and security, containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes

+ Certifications in cloud technologies
