The City of Chandler Fire Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as anEMS Senior Program Manager. The position is scheduled to work Monday – Friday 8AM-5PM. There will be an option to work a flexible schedule upon completion of initial probation.

The City of Chandler Fire Department is a progressive, internationally accredited organization with an ISO Class 1 rating and a distinguished history of service to the community. City charter authorizes the Department to mitigate all hazards, including fire suppression, emergency medical services (EMS), hazardous materials response, technical rescue, and crisis intervention. Who we are looking for
Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, ability to organize, and prioritize work and is dependable, reliable, and responsible. The primary function of an employee in this class is to perform a variety of complex and highly responsible professional duties involved in planning, developing, teaching, and administering the Chandler Fire Department’s Paramedic Program and the Department’s quarterly EMS training. This position is responsible for maintaining documentation and requirements to facilitate accreditation and is expected to conduct research and review information regarding current and future EMS issues to keep the City on the cutting edge.

Minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Emergency Medical Services, Education, Fire Science, or a related field; and4 years experience as an emergency registered nurse, registered nurse, or Arizona certified paramedic, or NREMT-P; andACLS and PALS provider certification; orAny equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Desired qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field;PHTLS, AMLS, PEPP, NRP Instructor certification;Knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools;Experience with e-learning platforms;Experience in a 911 EMS system.
This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.
