**The Opportunity**

Are you an experienced Principal Product Manager with a technical background in hyperconverged infrastructure, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset for new product development? **About the Team**

The Principal Product Manager will join the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) product management team at Nutanix, optimally based in Durham, North Carolina, but with options for remote work across the United States. The team is characterized by a culture of high performance, autonomy, and collaboration, focusing on innovative solutions in the hyperconverged infrastructure space. They are dedicated to developing cutting-edge, market-leading products and solutions that enhance business continuity and disaster recovery capabilities for customers, ensuring robust and reliable operations in complex environments.

You will report to the Director of Product Management, who fosters a leadership style that emphasizes empowerment, open communication, and a passion for innovation. You will be the primary go-to resource for your areas of expertise, participating in major events such as .NEXT, Global Tech Summit, and Sales Kick-Off. You will also drive key field-facing GTM initiatives with your partners in Product and Solutions Marketing, Field Marketing, and Sales Leadership. This is a high-visibility role with a lot of room to grow and expand, vertically and horizontally, within the organization.

There are some travel requirements for this role, highly dependent on whether working remotely. The Principal Product Manager will focus on driving initiatives and collaboration primarily through virtual means. This setup enables the team to maintain efficiency while connecting with stakeholders and partners across diverse locations.

**Your Role**

+ Own and manage multiple key product areas, including the new Multicloud Snapshot Technology (MST), within the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) framework.

+ Write exemplary Product Requirements Documents and work closely with engineers to ensure customer outcomes are met.

+ Advocate for BCDR solutions across the PM organization, effectively influencing upwards to stakeholders and senior leadership.

+ Function autonomously on multiple cross-functional initiatives with product managers, engineering, quality assurance, support, and external partners.

+ Engage in entrepreneurial activities to explore innovative solutions and advancements in product offerings.

+ Establish metrics for success and report on product performance, driving continual improvement and alignment with strategic goals.

+ Be an established, sought-after EBX (Executive Briefing eXperience) speaker.

**What You Will Bring**

+ 8 to 10 years of experience, particularly in hyperconverged infrastructure, storage, and/or networking.

+ 5+ years in a Product Management role.

+ Strong technical background in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

+ Proven ability to function independently and drive initiatives autonomously.

+ Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and alliance-building skills.

+ Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in new product development.

+ Strong communication skills for upward management and stakeholder advocacy.

+ Experience in partner ecosystem management and technical integrations.

+ Understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery solutions.

**Work Arrangement**

Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 182,400 and USD $ 364,800 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
